Please below a list of our frequently asked questions if you are a corporate or travel agent.

How can I access your content? 

We have an Open API that you can build into, and our documentation can be found here: https://www.trustedstays.co.uk/api-documentation. We also integrate with Amadeus and Distribute inventory on the GDS, get in touch with the team to set-up your rate code. We also have an integration with Katanox Distribution that can provide wider coverage and rich content for your travel agents. We can also set up your company with a Purchasing account to access content via a login with our website – we accept both credit card (including VCC, credit and company charge cards) as well as BACS invoice payment options.

What type of inventory do you have? 

We work with Homes, Serviced Apartments, Villas, Apart-Hotels that are self-contained and have a kitchen, laundry facilities and private bedrooms. We do not distribute Hotel Rooms or Private Rooms within a home. All our suppliers must be accredited by a 3rd party accreditation provider. Our preferred accreditation provider is QiT (Quality in Tourism) however we also work with The Visit Britain Group, The AA and ISAAP. 

What types of companies (buyers) do you work with? 

We work with all major travel agents such as AmexGBT, Internova, BCD Travel, Carlson Wagonlit, Navan (Reed & Mackay). We’re also able to provide bespoke accommodation solutions for smaller independent Travel Agents and Professional Business Travellers, 

What types of companies (suppliers) do you work with? 

TrustedStays started as Homes for NHS and we still work with the NHS and the Crown Commercial Service (UK Government) to this day. We work with a wide range of industries such as Relocations, Insurance and Finance, Manufacturing, Arts and Culture, Health and Science, Government, Education, Retail, Mining and Oil, Marine, Construction, Transportation and Logistics, Real Estate. Any business that requires their employees to travel. We also work directly with corporate companies such as London and Partners, Kings College London, Canary Wharf Group, Love Productions, Road Rebel and Digital Health Services UK, 

What location is your inventory located? 

We have inventory located across the UK including, England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. We work with some partners who distribute property in Europe so please get in touch with us for any accommodation inquiries that you may have, 

Are you based only in the UK? Or internationally?

How can you guarantee duty of care standards? 

Every supplier must be accredited by a 3rd party company. Our preferred accreditation provider is QiT (Quality in Tourism) however we also work with The Visit Britain Group, The AA and ISAAP. The accreditation is displayed on the accommodation listing on our website, 

What services do you offer? 

We offer accommodation solutions for corporate travellers. Our content can be accessed via our website, our API or via a distributor or aggregator such as the GDS or Katanox. All our accommodation is accredited meeting duty-of-care standards for employers. We offer extremely flexible payment options for businesses and travel agents including credit card and invoice BACS options, 

What commission/rebate do you offer? 

TrustedStays can negotiate commission on a case-by-case basis with each supplier. Get in touch with any inquiries that you may have so that we can look at matching your commercial requirements with our suppliers hello@trustedstays.co.uk

How can I make payments for (individual, group, or system/RFP) bookings? 

You can do this either using a Credit Card (including VCC) or Invoice BACS payment, 

What are your payment terms? 

Payment must be made within 30 days of the booking date, 

How many properties do you have available for my agents and customers to book? 

Our inventory is constantly growing and changing as more accommodation providers are becoming accredited, get in touch with the TrustedStays team to discuss coverage within the UK and internationally hello@trustedstays.co.uk  

How expensive are the content/properties that you distribute/list? 

We provide a range of nightly rates to suit a variety of budgets. Suppliers can use either Dynamic nightly rates, that vary by seasonality or Static nightly rates that are set by the supplier. Some suppliers do offer a length of stay discount. We always encourage potential guests or travel agents to get in touch hello@trustedstays.co.uk if they need help finding accommodation as not every property will be visible on the website, 

What is STAA? 

Stands for the Short-Term Accommodation Association, this association represents the Short-Term Rental, Serviced Apartment and Vacation Rental Industry. They are a key partner for delivering supply operators to TrustedStays, 

What is UKAA? 

Stands for the United Kingdom Apartment Association, this association represents the Build-To-Rent Industry and if a key partner for delivering supply to TrustedStays, 

What is QiT? 

QiT stands for Quality in Tourism, this is our preferred accreditation partner that supplier use to meet our standards, 

What is industry membership? 

Our Growth Partners are the UKAA and STAA. All our suppliers are members of either association. Industry Associations are designed to support the entire industry to foster development and growth and tackle industry challenges, 

What is 3rd party accreditation? 

Any TrustedStays home must carry a 3rd party accreditation. This means that another company will give the supplier a seal of approval. Some of our preferred partners are: QiT (quality in Tourism), The AA, The Visit Britain Group and ISAAP, 

Does TrustedStays manage the guest or does the supplier manage the guest? 

The supplier will manage the guest as they will be carrying out the services for the guest, 

What time is check-in? 

This varies from supplier to supplier and depends on when the previous guest checks out. Check the listing and booking confirmation for this information or contact the supplier directly. Typically, you will have to book a check-in time with your supplier as they will need your info when scheduling their operational services, 

What is your cancellation policy? 

This varies from supplier to supplier but can all full or partial cancellation as short as 24 hours to as long as 30 days prior to check-in, 

What is your minimum stay length in nights? 

We have suppliers who offer 1 night’s minimum stays. Our average length of stay is around 7 nights. 

What is your maximum stay length in nights? 

We have suppliers who offer up to 180-night minimum stays.
